A chat with Lea McLean - Our March artist

Citizen Vintage

Léa McLean is an art educator besides having an attachment to teaching

she has a love for anything involving movement and noise. For this

window display she decided to collaborate with her awesome students

from Rosyln Elementary and the Visual arts Center. They created colorful

mixed media art work! All of this to bring some joy into our lives and raise

funds for Spectrum Production, which is an organization that helps

autistic students through video and media productions!

All the profits

will go to this program since it is important to support programs that try

and give students a place where they can express themselves and feel

meaningful

On myself

If your window display was a planet, what celebrities would live there?

Probably Emma Stone, who would obviously be dating Ryan Gosling so he would have to live there too. But I would really have liked David Bowie to live there just so my dad could come hang out with him.

Art education at Concordia.

Colorful, movement, imperfect, big, loud.

1960's

My sisters clothes.

This bright pink clutch that I bought when I was in Paris for the first time visiting Paris for the first time visiting my friend Oli! Soooo chic!

Please make your way to the shop to check out Lea's beautiful art installation. It is up through the month of March!
