A Chat With Collaborate's Heather Lynn and Greg Doble: Our November Artists

For the month of November, Greg Doble and Heather Lynn have combined their distinct illustrative styles to create Collaborate, a jumble of paintings, drawings and sculptures that erupt from floor to ceiling. The focus of the display is based on hands, specifically gestures, and the unique character that can be perceived from something as simple as a hand gesture. Pieces are hung at various heights and climb their way upwards through a maze of picture frames creating a chaotic path for the viewer to navigate and explore these two designers unique styles.

Shortly after completing art school in 2011, Greg moved to Montreal where he now lives and works as a freelance illustrator/animator. Similarly, Heather, a recent grad from her design program in Ottawa moved to Montreal for the colourful and collaborative design scene. She currently works as a junior designer and does freelance illustration work on the side. Since meeting, the duo have found harmony exploring the similarities and differences in their work. Collaborate is a celebration of those explorations.
