What did you want to be when you were little

Mmm.. I don’t know if I had a career path in mind, but I do remember wanting to spend the rest of my life drawing dinosaurs and purple clouds.

What are you listening to right now?

If I wanted to sound like a cool human being, I would lie and answer something like: Radiohead or Bjork. Being honest, I am listening to the cowgirl kiss-offs playlist on Songza. Don’t Judge me.

In 5 words how would you describe your aesthetic?

  • -Sorta trashy
  • -mildly unstable
  • -fun and maybe a little bit funny?
  • -honest
  • -shameless

Did you go to art school or are you self taught?

My parents threw me into art classes when I was 8 and I have stayed in the arts throughout high school and University. I recently got my very useless studio arts degree from Concordia.

What are you working on right now?

I am working on getting my website for my brand: SPILT MILK up and running as well as making new product for it!

If your window display was a planet what celebrities would live there?

Nicolas Cage

Alice Zhang is a Montreal based illustrator/ graphic designer who would like to pretend she is a #badassbitch when in reality she may be better defined as #basic? Her work is inspired by the mediocrely unfortunate happenings in everyday life as well as pastel coloured and, or greasy comfort foods. Lastly, she is not ashamed to admit that she frequently hosts solo dance parties to horrible 90’s music (more specifically Sclub7).
